A New Translation with Introduction and Commentary.
Obadiah exemplifies the classic Israelite prophetic tradition. This brief but
volatile diatribe encompasses many of the great prophetic themes, such as
divine judgment against Israel's enemies, the day of Yahweh, Zion theology,
